When you have installed your Kangen Machine do the following

E-Cleaner Instructions Cleaning Instructions for E-Cleaner 1. Turn machine off and unplug from power source, open the black cover and remove the main filter 2. Replace the water filter with CPU unit (Make sure a new cleaning powder packet has been emptied and place inside the CPU unit and closed) 3. Place both the white flexible hose and gray secondary hose into an empty cup or similar container 4. Switch the diverter on the ION setting and turn on faucet to permit water to flow through your machine for about 10 seconds (about 1 liter) until the cup has filled halfway allowing the cup to retain the residual water and then turn off faucet. Be sure not to spill the cup or its contents 5. Let machine sit for 3-5 hours; after please remove the hoses from cup and turn on the faucet to allow water to run through machine for several minutes 3-5 Minutes) to flush out cleaning powder 6. Turn faucet off and replace CPU unit with original filter and again allow water to flow for several minutes 7. Place black cover on, plug in machine, and turn on machine. Now enjoy clean, good, Kangen water. 8. After turning on machine, there is a possibility that calcium may flow from the machine, please dispose of this water. 9. After each use of the CPU unit, please dry the cleaning powder unit with a towel and store it in the box. With proper care, you will be able to use the CPU unit for three years.
